Application for Doctor of Ministry Program

Please review the steps below before you start your application. Admission standards are available here. Please review them. You will be submitting an application for admission to the Doctor of Ministry program of Lincoln Christian University. You will be asked for information about yourself, your church background, your educational experience, and to provide contact information for three references (not family members). You will be asked to provide a letter of endorsement from those who oversee your ministry. The purpose of this letter is to insure that your organization:
  1. Approves of the time you will spend involved in this program
  2. Is willing to help you protect your time as a student during residency weeks
  3. Supports your implementation of post-class work within your ministry context

We also ask that you provide two three page essays (either uploaded as part of the application or mailed).
  1. Describe your conversion and other significant events and influences in your faith development, as well as an assessment of your on-going "spiritual pilgrimage" and your ministry goals.
  2. Explain and provide supporting rationale for your philosophy of ministry.

Application Steps
  1. Complete the application.
  2. Contact all colleges, universities, or seminaries you have attended and request official transcripts be sent to the address below.
  3. If you are submitting your essays by mail use the address below.

We will begin processing your application upon receipt of your $20 application fee.
